Episode 232: Solving Addiction With Persistence?

Understanding the Journey: Why Persistence Matters

While some people solve their “addiction” and change their habit in an instant, for others it can be a longer process that involves identifying your perceived benefits of the substance and/or activity, challenging those benefits, and also identifying the benefits you get by changing your habit. For some there may also be a process of unlearning addiction disease and recovery mythology, shedding the addict identity, and challenging long-held beliefs they may have about themselves and their personal abilities.

Faith and Persistence: Key Ingredients for Success

The point is, for each person, solving their problem requires a certain level of persistence and faith that if you keep on working to solve the problem, you will eventually solve it!
